GolfChic Covers®

GolfChic Covers® began like many small businesses, as a hobby, for my cart and love for the game.

After retiring early, Bob and Sharon Brown moved from Princeton, New Jersey to Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina in 2009. They wanted more time on the golf course and at the beach, and a little less time in snow and traffic.
While spending more days on the course, Sharon noticed other ladies using beach towels as seat covers. She wanted something better - something that would stay in place, protect her outfits, and look great. So, she decided to make her own.

The result was a comfortable and stylish seat cover that kept her seat warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Friends quickly took notice and began asking if she could make one for them too. Soon, word spread across local courses, and Sharon and Bob realized this little project might become something more.
Encouraged by the positive response, they decided to take a leap and showcase their designs at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The feedback was incredible, and that was the moment GolfChic Covers® became a real business.

They officially launched GolfChic Covers®(Golf Chic Bags, LLC) shortly after that.
Their first real success came when a popular ladies’ golf shop in Calabash, NC began selling their covers both in-store and online. From there, more clubs, and independent golf shops began selling GolfChic Covers®, and the product Line has continued to Grow!

 

Today, Bob and Sharon Brown continue to run the business from their home base in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Every detail – from Cover Designs and Fabric selection to Stitching, Packaging, Sourcing and Making in the USA – is handled with care and attention to detail.

What started as one woman’s creative solution has become a nationwide favorite. GolfChic Covers® is now known as the number one source for custom golf cart seat covers that are stylish, high-quality, and customizable.
